Choose the exact Bitcoin route
The current BitStarz payment directory lists Bitcoin, and the Wallet can present different ways to move it. Native on-chain BTC uses a Bitcoin address and blockchain confirmations. Lightning ordinarily uses an amount-specific invoice with an expiry. Bitcoin Cash and tokenised Bitcoin are different assets despite similar names.
Select the intended deposit or cash-out row and record its asset, network, minimum, maximum, fee and timing. Check the return path before depositing. Do not begin with the sending wallet and pick whichever Bitcoin-labelled network looks cheapest; the destination instruction determines the valid route.

Generate a fresh on-chain BTC address
For a native Bitcoin deposit, copy the address from the current BitStarz Wallet transaction. Compare several characters at the beginning and end after pasting, and use the wallet's full-detail screen when a mobile interface truncates the middle. Clipboard malware can silently replace an address between copy and approval.
Older official BitStarz guides show the basic copy-and-send workflow, but an old screenshot or previously saved address should not drive a new payment. Account design, processors and currency routes change. Preserve the current destination and timestamp for reconciliation, while keeping login credentials, private keys and recovery phrases completely out of the evidence.
Keep Bitcoin Lightning separate
An on-chain address and a Lightning invoice are not interchangeable. A Lightning invoice can encode an amount and expiry and must be paid by a compatible Lightning wallet. An ordinary Bitcoin network withdrawal field expects an on-chain address. Sending the wrong type of payment can fail before broadcast or create a difficult support case.
Confirm whether the current Wallet offers Lightning only for deposits or for both directions. Do not infer symmetry. Check the invoice amount, expiry and any fee immediately before authorisation. Preserve the payment hash or wallet receipt for Lightning, and use the separate Bitcoin Lightning guide for route-specific troubleshooting.
Send enough BTC after external deductions
Current terms require a cryptocurrency deposit at or above the live minimum and warn that below-minimum amounts may not be processed or returned. Exchanges can quote a network fee or service withdrawal charge that reduces the BTC delivered to the address. The relevant threshold is the expected net receipt.
On the final preview, compare gross send, provider deduction and net value with the current Wallet minimum and maximum. Bitcoin's fiat price can move while the transaction is prepared, so a fiat estimate is not the same as the BTC amount. Keep the entertainment budget fixed and do not chase a conversion change by sending more impulsively.
Read the mempool and confirmations correctly
After broadcast, the transaction hash shows whether the transfer is unconfirmed, included in a block or accumulating confirmations. A sending exchange can delay broadcast even while its internal status says processing. Until a public hash exists, there may be nothing for BitStarz or a blockchain explorer to locate.
Older official BitStarz content published a one-confirmation BTC rule, but confirmation policies can change with processors and risk conditions. Use the live deposit status rather than treating that historical figure as a guarantee. Network congestion and the fee chosen by the sender can affect inclusion time without changing the destination address.
Separate blockchain delivery from casino credit
A confirmed transaction proves BTC reached the address shown in its outputs. BitStarz still needs to associate the transfer with the correct account and route. Currency conversion or processor reconciliation may add another state. Therefore, 'confirmed' on an explorer and 'credited' in the Wallet are related but distinct events.
If the hash is confirmed at the correct destination and amount but the balance is missing, provide the hash, Wallet address, selected currency, net amount and time to official support. If the hash points elsewhere, contact the sending provider immediately. Do not send a second deposit until the first discrepancy has a documented explanation.
Prepare a compliant Bitcoin withdrawal
Current terms require deposited funds to be wagered once before withdrawal and ordinarily route winnings back through the deposit method. An active bonus can add wagering, game and expiry conditions. Check My Rewards and Prizes, same-method history and the native BTC recipient before submitting the cash-out request.
The request may pass account review, game audit, KYC and operator approval before any outgoing blockchain transaction exists. Save the casino request ID first and the hash after dispatch. Pending, approved, sent, confirmed and received are not synonyms, and each status identifies a different party that can investigate next.
Verify identity and wallet ownership safely
Bitcoin does not make an account exempt from KYC. Current terms allow identity, address, payment and additional withdrawal verification and prohibit third-party payment methods. Use a wallet or exchange account controlled by the registered player and keep legitimate purchase and transfer records when payment ownership needs to be demonstrated.
Provide documents only through an official secure channel and reveal no more than requested. A public transaction hash and redacted account screenshot can support an investigation without a seed phrase, private key, one-time password or remote-access session. Anyone requesting wallet recovery words to release a payment is attempting to take control of the funds.
Evaluate a connected-wallet deposit
The official MeshConnect guide describes linking a supported wallet or exchange and reviewing a transaction summary before approval. This can reduce manual address copying, but it introduces a connection permission, an external interface and potentially a small service fee. It does not remove the need for blockchain confirmation.
Use the option only when it appears in the current BitStarz Wallet and supports the intended BTC route. Verify the origin, requested permission, asset, amount, destination and fee in the wallet before signing. Save the resulting hash and disconnect optional sessions afterward. Never authorise an unexplained unlimited token permission for a native BTC transfer.
Diagnose a pending Bitcoin payment
Start with the last proven event. No hash indicates a sender or pre-chain issue. An unconfirmed hash points to mempool and fee conditions. A confirmed correct deposit with no balance points to processor or account attribution. A withdrawal with no hash may still be in bonus, KYC, audit or approval review.
Build one chronology containing the Wallet route, address or invoice, gross and net BTC, provider fee, hash, confirmation state, casino request ID, bonus status, KYC state and timestamps. Send it through official support with a precise question. Do not post transaction and account evidence publicly or accept recovery help from unsolicited profiles.
Common questions
Frequently asked questions
Does BitStarz currently accept Bitcoin BTC?
Bitcoin appears in the current public payment directory. Confirm the exact deposit and cash-out routes in the eligible signed-in Wallet.
Which Bitcoin network should I use?
Use native on-chain BTC only when that is the selected instruction. Lightning, BCH and tokenised Bitcoin are separate routes or assets.
How many confirmations does a BitStarz BTC deposit need?
Use the current Wallet status. Older official guides mentioned one confirmation, but historical figures should not be treated as a live guarantee.
Why is my Bitcoin deposit not showing?
Check whether a public hash exists, whether it reached the exact address with enough BTC and whether it has the confirmations currently required.
Can I withdraw BTC after depositing another method?
Do not assume so. Current terms ordinarily require same-method withdrawal; confirm the intended round trip before depositing.
Does BitStarz charge Bitcoin withdrawal fees?
Current terms say BitStarz and its processor do not charge withdrawal fees, but miner, wallet, exchange or conversion costs can still affect the net receipt.
